Torunn and I have been busy since I last sent you an update. She competed in an IABCA conformation dog show and took best of breed in every show we competed in. The judges both loved her. They both complimented how well she moved and said that her temperament was wonderful. At the show we were given written feedback, all of it being positive. She has some growing and maturing to do, but she is a very impressive puppy.
She also competed in her second dock jumping competition and is now North Forks Next Great Avenger TKN UADJJ! This means she has her Junior title, meaning that she has proven herself able to jump consistently over 10 feet.
Lastly, we went to our 3rd frisbee competition today. She has placed in the top three at least in every competition since our first outing, above many herding breeds which I am always so impressed with. She has also been the youngest competing dog at every competition thus far. She has now qualified for international finals in both games we compete in, and we will hopefully be travelling to Kentucky to compete in that contest in April.
We will be trying for her trick dog intermediate title this coming weekend and that will finish out our competition/titling campaign for 2018. I hope to add rally to our sports line up for 2019 in addition to continuing to compete in disc and dock jumping. I've attached a picture of her with her latest UpDog medal, she placed 3rd out of 16 dogs. I've also attached a picture of one of our training outings to the local Rural King.
